Dr. Simon Courtenay is a Professor in the School of Environment, Resources and Sustainability at the University of Waterloo. He is interested in the uses that fish and other animals make of aquatic environments and how human activities affect this aquatic ecology. One area of focus presently is the development of monitoring programs to detect impacts of particular industries and cumulative effects.
