Dr. Kerry MacQuarrie’srecent research has focused on nitrates in groundwater, the impacts of climate change on shallow aquifers and seawater intrusion, and the far-field hydrogeochemical aspects of deep waste disposal. A particular area of focus has been numerical modeling of density-dependent groundwater flow, solute and heat transport, and multi-component reactive transport.
